EE 023: Let’s Have A Heart-To-Heart

How many times have you started a “diet” but then you got off track and quit? A couple? 5? 10? If you’re like most people I’ve met, it is too many to count.

How about the number of business programs you’ve bought to improve your “shelf-esteem”? Shelf-esteem is built by shelves all across the world when they hold the thousands of binders full of brilliant information that their owners don’t act upon.

Have you noticed a recurring theme? The main character present at each production?

I told you I like to get right to the heart of the matter. It’s what a good coach does for her client.

The recurring theme is looking to some program or product for the answer.  The main character is you and your tendency to look outside yourself for the answer.

I’m going to save you ridiculous amounts of money with this nugget right here…the answer lies within you. 100% of the time.

You don’t need some overpriced product, nor some fancy piece of software, nor the latest guru’s business system to “finally succeed.”

Every single thing you need lies within. You just need to tap into it.

Consider this a Heart-to-Heart chat complete with a warm hug and some truth bombs, Dr. Sam Style.

One practice I assist clients in adopting is that of mindfulness.  We do this through meditating, shutting off the distractions, allowing space to think, and prioritizing sleep.  These become non-negotiables in the life of an EXECUpreneur.

“Wishes and wants do not transform a person; actions and reactions do so!

Show the world your plans by the actions you take progressively and consistently.”

Roll up your sleeves and get to work!  The people who achieve the most success in their lives are not those who have found a way to avoid making mistakes or encountering obstacles. The most successful people know that mistakes and challenges are an unavoidable part of life and they are the ones who are willing to keep moving forward after making mistakes and experiencing failure. They implement systems to detect potential problems and minimize their repercussions, sometimes circumventing the problems altogether.

These people have cultivated what evades others.

They have grit. They exemplify the drive of someone with the energy to get the job done.  The clarity to stay on the path they’re designing…they have perseverance with the ability to pivot to stay the course their strategy has lain out for them.

Having the E.D.G.E. is what matters most when questioning whether or not you will succeed or fail at your EXECUpreneurial venture. You’ve now been shown the way to develop your E.D.G.E. and harness its incredible power to become a successful EXECUpreneur. Following this advice will allow you to enjoy more success and accomplish everything you set out to do.

Knowing the traits that every EXECUpreneur possesses and how you can nurture your EXECUpreneurial Spirit will help you on the path to developing your E.D.G.E. Take these lessons to heart and come back to them often as you make your way through the process.  Face challenges along with setbacks head on as you travel along your EXECUpreneurial path.

Anyone can become an EXECUpreneur, but only those willing to put in the work to develop their E.D.G.E will find lifelong success.

Now my friend, what is it that YOU want?
